Memphis man caught running on I-40 accused of burglarizing Nashville home

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A Memphis man running on Interstate 40 was arrested after Mt. Juliet Police officers discovered he allegedly burglarized a Nashville home.

MJPD said an officer spotted the man running across I-40 and caught him as he entered Mt. Juliet. He reportedly gave multiple fake names and had no form of ID on him.

Further investigation revealed that he was also carrying someone else’s phone. MJPD said they got in touch with the owner and learned that their home on South New Hope Road in Nashville, near the Wilson County line, had just been burglarized…
