Megan Boswell’s attorney responds to state filing for enhanced sentencing

SULLIVAN COUNTY, Tenn. (WJHL) — On Tuesday, the state filed sentence enhancement documents in Megan Boswell’s case.

The Second Judicial District Attorney General’s Office wants Boswell to serve her sentences back-to-back rather than all together. If the judge agrees, those enhancements will keep Boswell in prison for the rest of her life.

Boswell’s attorney, Gene Scott, said the filing for enhanced sentencing goes against what a jury decided back in February. Boswell was found guilty on 19 charges, including three counts of first-degree murder…
