MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Two people are dead after a shooting that took place near the campus of Booker T. Washington High School on the afternoon of April 24, 2025.
Officers responded to a shooting call at Mississippi Boulevard and South Lauderdale Street at around 3 p.m., according to MPD Deputy Chief Webb Kirkdoffer at a press conference that took place shortly after the incident.
