Baby shoe sale leads to robbery with shots fired: MPD

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Police say a Facebook sale of baby shoes turned into an armed robbery and a shooting after the buyer showed up with friends and guns.

It happened early Friday morning near South Orleans and Eads Avenue in South Memphis.

The victim told police he had sold a pair of Kids Power Puff shoes for girls to a man on Facebook Messenger a couple of days earlier, but hadn’t received full payment…
