MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Town of Collierville announced the bridge on Holmes Road, east of Reynolds, will be closed on May 8 due to a significant substructure deterioration.
They say after a recent inspection, engineers determined the bridge is no longer safe and must remain closed while a long-term solution is developed.
The repairs and reconstruction could take two to three years, depending on the design, funding, and construction schedules.
“We know this will impact daily routines and appreciate your patience as we work to ensure public safety,” said the Town of Collierville.
