MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A Texas couple was arrested for fraudulently claiming thousands of dollars for a patient they said was receiving care in Memphis.
Richard Banks, 53, and Tammy Banks, 49, were arrested April 2025 and each charged with theft of property valued between $10,000 to $60,000 and TennCare fraud following an investigation by the Medicaid Fraud Control Division of the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI).
