Man brings gun, punches teen girl during fight at high school, police say

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – The Memphis Police Department has arrested and charged a man accused of bringing a gun onto school grounds.

On May 6, at 3:20 p.m., officers responded to a fight call at Fairley High School on Fairley Road.

When officers arrived, they were met by a school officer who informed them that he had three female students detained, and the suspect, later identified as Randy Gordon.

According to MPD, the three girls were in an altercation when Gordon, the stepbrother of one of the girls, intervened and punched one of the girls in the face several times with a closed fist…
