Man critical after shooting in East Memphis

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man was left critically injured after being shot Tuesday morning on Cherry Road in East Memphis.

Officers say they responded to the 1400 block of Cherry Road regarding a shooting around 11:45 a.m.

A witness told police that they saw a man get shot by an unknown suspect in front of an apartment complex. The suspect is then accused of walking toward another apartment complex across the street.
