Your First Alert to rain for Mother’s Day

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – Low pressure over the lower Mississippi River Valley is driving Gulf moisture into the Mid-South making for clouds and a rainy pattern for this Mother’s Day weekend. Showers were confined to North Mississippi for the start of the weekend, but more rain will spread farther north tonight and tomorrow keeping scattered showers in the mix and the potential for more rain and a few thunderstorms will continue tomorrow night and into Monday as well.

TONIGHT: Cloudy with scattered showers, a breezy Northeast wind at 15 to 20 MPH, and overnight lows near 60.

SUNDAY: Cloudy with scattered showers and a few t’storms along with an East wind at 10 to 15 MPH and afternoon highs in the mid 70s…
