Shots fired near the scene of hit-and-run in Southeast Memphis

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — After shots were fired near the scene of a hit-and-run, one person has been hospitalized and another has been detained, police confirmed.

At 1:04 p.m., officers responded to a two-vehicle hit-and-run accident that ended in the 3600 block of Outland Dr., where a driver crashed out and fled the scene on foot.
