Crash involving overturned semi-truck on I-40 leaves 2 injured

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A car crash involving a tractor-trailer on Interstate 40 caused traffic delays and left two people injured Wednesday morning.

According to the Tennessee Department of Transportation, there was a three-vehicle crash on I-40 east near Highland around 2:11 a.m.

WREG crews at the scene say it appears a tractor-trailer collided with another car before crashing into the median and overturning.

A man and a woman were taken to Regional One in non-critical condition.
