All of Mid-South under Tornado Watch until Tuesday night

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – All of the Mid-South is under a Tornado Watch until 8 p.m. Tuesday. This is part of the Level 3/5 Risk Zone covering the entire area. This storm could produce multiple tornadoes, tennis ball sized hail, and wind gusts up to 70 mph. The National Weather Service expects this round of storms to move through between 1 p.m. and 9 p.m. Lafayette and Marshall counties in Mississippi are both under a Severe Thunderstorm Warning until 3 p.m. The main threats with this storm are half dollar-sized hail and wind gusts up to 60 mph. Full forecast below: One round of severe storms blew through the Mid-South Tuesday morning, resulting in severe thunderstorm and tornado warnings in some areas. Another round is expected to move in between 1 p.m. and 9 p.m. That second round of storms could produce EF2 or greater tornadoes.
