MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – It’s a slithery twist in environmental policy and something that you might not be aware of, but snakes are protected in the Volunteer State.

Whether they are harmless or venomous, killing a snake could be something that costs you thousands of dollars and brings some real charges.
