Man arrested in connection to fatal Cache 42 shooting

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man charged with murder was arrested on Thursday in connection to the Cache 42 shooting that left one person dead and two people injured earlier this month.

Jerod Lawson, 24, was charged with three counts of Criminal Attempted First-Degree Murder.

On June 8, deputies say they were called to a shooting in the parking lot of Cache 42 in the 4200 Block of Hacks Cross Road around 10 p.m.

Two male adults and a 16-year-old were reportedly shot and taken to nearby hospitals.
