MEMPHIS, Tenn. — After navigating the daily operations of the Shelby County Health Department for four years, Dr. Michelle Taylor has accepted a new job in Baltimore.
Former Health Department Director Dr. Taylor is leaving her hometown of Memphis to become the new Commissioner of Health for the Baltimore City Health Department in Maryland.
Dr. Michelle Taylor is a pediatrician and has a doctorate in public health from Johns Hopkins University. She also has a master’s degree in epidemiology from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center.
