MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Tennessee law enforcement agencies, including the Tennessee Highway Patrol, will spend the holiday weekend patrolling one of the longest highways in the state.
The Tennessee Highway Safety Office, along with the Tennessee Highway Patrol and local law enforcement, will enforce the “Safe on Seventy” campaign until July 6. The campaign started at noon on Thursday.

According to the Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security, there will be increased traffic enforcement on U.S. Highway 70 throughout the state.
