Operation Rolling Thunder nets over 200 arrests, including 42 gang members, MPD says

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – A police operation in Memphis resulted in hundreds of arrests, including dozens of gang members, according to the Memphis Police Department (MPD).

MPD said 209 people were arrested during Operation Rolling Thunder, including 42 gang members. Of those arrests, 196 were for felonies, according to police.

The sweeping arrests also saw the seizure of more than 150 grams of fentanyl, 44 pounds of marijuana, 58.6 grams of crack, nearly 40 grams of powder cocaine, 459 grams of promethazine, over 800 pills, and 116 grams of meth, the police department said…
