Two fugitives charged with murder, found and arrested in Memphis

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Two fugitives, each accused of murder in separate states, were arrested in Memphis on Tuesday, according to the U.S. Marshals.

Kemarion Ward, 19, was arrested for First Degree Murder. Thaddius Brown, 29, was also arrested in another case and charged with Second Degree Murder.

On December 10, 2023, Germanaiee Stephans was found shot to death in Indianola, Mississippi. An arrest warrant was issued for Kemarion Ward on January 24, 2024, in Sunflower County, Mississippi.
