Man arrested for murder in New York helped clean up Orange Mound blight days earlier

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – A Mid-South man wanted for murder in New York was arrested in Memphis; however, prior to his arrest, he was helping clean up the community.

29-year-old Thaddius Brown returned to Orange Mound to clean up the blight in his community. Brown is facing a second-degree murder charge in New York. The exact details of that case have not been released.

U.S. Marshals said their New York regional fugitive task force began investigating Brown in June. Last Friday, July 5, he showed up to clean blight in Orange Mound after the alleged murder. Marshals took Brown into custody the next day…
