MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Memphis Fire Department’s Canine Search Team joined the recovery efforts in Texas after flooding killed more than 100 people.
The MFD Canine Search Team—Human Remains Detection deployed to Kerr County, Texas. They’ll spend two weeks assisting local officials in their search and rescue efforts. MFD said the team is made up of 12 highly trained personnel, along with four TN-TF1 vehicles, two UTVs, and specialized search dogs.
