Caregiver accused of stealing $82k in jewelry from couple

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A woman has been arrested after what the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office calls a jewelry heist in Cordova.

Corine Mukes, 22, has been charged with theft of property valued between $60,000 and $250,000 and financial exploitation of an elderly person.
