Man with active warrants arrested after going to jail to bail out friend, sheriff says

HERNANDO, Miss. (WMC/Gray News) – A man with active warrants was arrested after going to jail to bail out his friend on Thursday.

According to the DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office, 40-year-old Keith Shaw was being checked in as a visitor at the jail to bail out his friend when it was discovered that he had active warrants out for his arrest.

Shaw fled and was captured after a brief search involving sheriff’s deputies, drones, K-9 units and police officers from Hernando and Southaven, Mississippi…
