MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Memphis Police Department is searching for a woman they said sprayed a store employee with mace after a dispute over a refund.
Just after 11:00 a.m. on June 3, police said, officers were sent to a Family Dollar store on Highland Street for an assault call. MPD said the officers were told that a woman got upset with an employee over a refund. Police said that the woman left the store while still discussing the refund with the employee.
Upon her return, MPD said, the woman walked up to the employee and sprayed her in the face with mace. Police said the employee was injured in the face and eyes by the mace…
