Man sues for gun rights despite past conviction and pardon

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man is suing Attorney General Pam Bondi and the head of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives [ATF] to have his gun rights restored.

DeAndre Brown is the executive director of Shelby County’s Office of Reentry and founded the nonprofit, LifeLine to Success, which helps former inmates re-enter society.
