Emergency cooling center to open as extreme heat sweeps through the Mid-South

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The City of Memphis will reopen its emergency cooling center Saturday to help those in need during the extreme warm weather.

The cooling center will be open to the public at noon until 7 p.m. Saturday. It is located at 590 Washington Avenue and operated by The Hospitality Hub of Memphis.
