Police: Car theft suspects had key fobs, masks, and firearms

JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) – Police arrested four Crittenden County men early Monday morning, suspected of stealing a Dodge Charger.

At 4:19 a.m. July 28, police responded to the 2100 block of Clark Street regarding a breaking and entering in progress.

According to the initial incident report and a news release from the Jonesboro Police Department, officers arrested the following:

  • Jaidyn Jaishawn Lofton, 19, Marion
  • Allen Lee Udell, 18, Crawfordsville
  • Ryan Armand Warren, 20, West Memphis
  • Daronta Brown, 20, Marion

On suspicion of the following charges:

  • Theft of a vehicle valued at $25,000 or more
  • Breaking or entering-articles from a vehicle
  • Unauthorized use of another person’s property to facilitate certain crimes
  • Theft of $1,000 or less from a vehicle
  • Criminal attempt
  • Carrying a weapon
  • Bench warrant
  • Possessing instruments of crime

According to the report, police recovered an AR-15 with a 60-round magazine, several iPhones, several key fobs, a bag of assorted Allen wrenches, power tools, a fuse panel layout, a window punch, and multiple caps and gloves.

Officers also recovered a 2017 Dodge Charger, with a “busted driver side back passenger window,” belonging to a 22-year-old Jonesboro man…
