Memphis man nabbed with $7K in stolen goods in East TN

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man from Memphis could be responsible for multiple home improvement store heists in Eastern Tennessee.

According to the Mt. Juliet Police Department, the 41-year-old was arrested Sunday after over $7,000 worth of merchandise was found in the back of his van.

Police said an officer patrolling some retail areas spotted the van parked at a Lowe’s without a license plate.

The officer said inside the van were stacks of merchandise in plain view. They said store employees had not discovered the theft yet…
