Authorities in Tate County have identified the body of a man found near Arkabutla Lake on Friday, August 1.
According to the Tate County Sheriff’s Office, the deceased individual has been identified as 32-year-old Anthony Peavy, of Batesville. His body was found on private property near the lake. Investigators from the Sheriff’s Office, along with representatives from the District Attorney’s Office, secured and processed the scene.
