Motorcyclist dead after crash with disabled car on I-40

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Police say a man on a motorcycle died Saturday after colliding with a vehicle on Interstate 40 near Warford.

Police say it started with a one-vehicle crash that left a disabled vehicle on the interstate near the Warford exit sometime around 4 a.m.

The woman involved in the car wreck told police that she was in the middle lane and fell asleep at the wheel. She thinks she veered left and struck the wall, veered right and struck the wall on the right side, and somehow ended up back in the middle lane. No injuries were reported…
