The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office has a new reason for celebration as it welcomes 28 fresh faces to its ranks. The new Corrections Deputies, graduates from Corrections Deputy Recruit Class #95, were recognized during a graduation ceremony held on Thursday at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church. This ceremony marked the culmination of 13 weeks of dedication and rigorous training.
According to the social media post released by the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office, Sheriff Floyd Bonner, Jr., along with his Law Enforcement and Jail Command staff, extended their congratulations to the new graduates. The names of the deputies now ready to serve included Candi Ards, Marteka Baker, Tonmeke Bond, and many others who have committed to uphold the safety and security of their community.
