Memphis teen aviator strikes deal to leave Chile after Antarctic arrest

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – A pilot from Memphis who was detained on a remote Antarctic island has reached a deal to leave Chile.

Ethan Guo was trying to fly to all seven continents alone to raise $1 million for cancer research at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
