MEMPHIS, Tenn. – MLGW will offer free pilot light safety inspections in September to ensure gas appliance safety, officials said.
Customers can begin scheduling appointments Aug. 18, MLGW said.
Inspections will run Sept. 2-30 at no cost. From Oct. 1 through Dec. 31, the service will cost $55 for up to three gas heating appliances, with each additional appliance costing $16. The service will remain free for physically challenged customers and seniors 60 and older, MLGW said…
