According to reports from the Memphis Police Department, the incident occurred around 5:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, when an intruder forcibly made entry through the side door, tripping a security alarm in the process. Memphis Police officials stated the burglary led to a damaged plexiglass window panel. Upon entering, the suspect ransacked the establishment and stole cash from the registers.
The suspect, who appears to be a Black male, was caught on surveillance footage during the burglary. He was clad in a black hooded sweatshirt embellished with a silver American flag on the front, black Nike shorts, red underwear, and black Nike Air Jordan 2 tennis shoes.
