MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Comedian Reggie Carroll was killed by multiple shots from a 12-gauge shotgun in a Southaven house he shared with suspect Tranell Williams, the DeSoto County District Attorney said.
D.A. Matthew Barton shared some details on the shooting death at a news conference Wednesday.

He said police were called to the house on Burton Lane around 6:30 last Wednesday. First responders performed life-saving measures on Carroll, who was taken to a hospital. Tranell Williams was at the scene.
While both the victim and suspect were roommates in the house, and had both worked on tour with comedian Katt Williams, Barton said Katt Williams did not own the house. It is owned by a rental company…
