MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – The Juvenile Court of Memphis and Shelby County is reporting a drop in serious crimes committed by juveniles: 531 offenses in 2024, down from 594 in 2022 and 641 in 2020.
Despite the decline, more kids were detained this year — and for longer periods.
