Man accused of three armed robberies in an hour

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — An 18-year-old is accused of committing three robberies in a little under an hour in the Parkway Village and Hickory Hill areas on July 24.

The first was around 8 p.m. at a taco truck on South Mendenhall. The owner says a man entered the food truck through an unlocked door, put a gun to his back and got away with $2,000 in cash before running to a waiting car.

The food truck owner followed the car, a red Kia Optima with Mississippi tags, and was able to photograph the license plate.
