‘Shouldn’t have happened:’ DeSoto County bus driver wrongfully arrested demands apology from Justice Court

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) -Just over two weeks ago, Gary Williams was wrongfully arrested after and said he’s now demanding an apology from the DeSoto County Justice Court.

Williams was arrested on Aug. 13, after he was believed to have an active warrant. Southaven Police Officers said they witnessed the bus drive through a stop sign and into traffic.

Police then conducted a traffic stop on the bus and Williams was taken into custody…
