In a move expected to reshape the judiciary of Shelby County, Tennessee, Governor Bill Lee has tapped two legal professionals for pivotal roles. Chris Frulla steps in as a new Circuit Court judge, while Raymond Lepone takes on the mantle of Criminal Court judge in the 30th Judicial District. Frulla comes to the bench after a successful stint as a partner at Rainey, Kizer, Reviere & Bell, PLC. With degrees from the College of Charleston and Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law, his legal acumen has been honed over the years within the crucibles of private practice. His appointment fills the vacancy created by the elevation of Judge Valerie Smith to the appellate bench, effective immediately. He was previously entrenched in the Tennessee Attorney General’s Criminal Appeals Division. His educational background mirrors Frulla’s, having also graduated from Cecil C.
