The Germantown Police Department has released their daily crime report via social media, detailing a series of shoplifting incidents and thefts that have occurred in the last days of August. Over the span of three days, authorities responded to multiple shoplifting calls on West Farmington Boulevard and Poplar Avenue, as well as thefts spanning from Enclave Hollow Lane West to Dogwood Road.
Specific incidents included two arrests for shoplifting last Friday at 12:27 p.m. on the 7600 block of West Farmington Boulevard, followed by another individual being arrested for the same offense later that evening at 8:31 p.m. in the same block.
On the following day, a resident from the 1800 block of Enclave Hollow Lane West reported items taken from their home during a theft of property at 6:48 a.m., according to the department’s social media post, and later that afternoon, at 1:42 p.m., three subjects were observed snagging merchandise on the 7500 block of Poplar Avenue…
