Shelby County Health Department investigating hand, foot, and mouth disease outbreak in MSCS

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Shelby County Department of Health (SCDH) is investigating several cases of hand, foot, and mouth disease among students in at least one Memphis-Shelby County (MSCS) school.

MSCS, who is collaborating with SCHD in the investigation, first announced the cases of hand, foot, and mouth disease at Sherwood Elementary School on Tuesday, September 2.
