MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The family of the 17-year-old who was shot Monday on Beale Street as 901 Day celebrations were ending is speaking out.
The mother of T’Marious Allen, 17, is calling for more security downtown and accountability from the alleged shooter’s family.
Tmanee or T’marious, Allen’s son, was critically injured this past Monday on Beale Street.

“This is against the law, but I ran every red light to get downtown. I really did, to get to my baby, but by the time I got there, they were already pulling off,” said Tyisea Allen, mother.
