MEMPHIS, Tenn. – A student stabbed another student with a pencil during a fight at Hamilton K-8 Thursday morning, according to the Memphis Police Department (MPD) and Memphis-Shelby County Schools (MSCS).
MPD said the fight happened between two boys in a special education classroom at the school at 10 a.m. The teacher told officers that two of her students got into an argument earlier in the day. One boy, sitting near the door, took a pencil and stabbed the other boy in the arm as he walked back into the classroom, according to police.
