MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A Memphis man has been sentenced to more than four years in federal prison after he was convicted of stealing and selling more than 1,000 DVDs and Blu-rays of blockbuster movies from his company.
The Department of Justice says Steven Hale, 38, has been sentenced to 57 months in prison. Hale was sentenced on Thursday.
According to the DOJ, Hale worked for a company that manufactured and distributed DVDs and Blu-rays of movies. Hale is accused of stealing hundreds of DVDs and Blu-rays from February 2021 to March 2022…
