Bartlett man afraid to go to Memphis welcomes National Guard

BARTLETT, Tenn. — The mother of a crime victim and a Bartlett man afraid of crime in Memphis are putting out the welcome mat for the National Guard.

Charles Moore, who has lived in Bartlett for 35 years, voiced his concerns about crime in Memphis, stating that he and his wife are apprehensive about visiting the city due to safety issues.

He said his wife is afraid of what will happen if she makes the trip alone.
