MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WHBQ/CNN Newsource/WKRC) – A Memphis high school teacher is under investigation following a physical altercation with a student over a cell phone, captured in a video that has sparked concern among parents and school officials.
What began as a typical school day escalated into a confrontation described by police as a “tussle.” The video shows the teacher and student entangled over the device, prompting an assault allegation against the teacher.
“When I seen the teacher on my daughter, my heart dropped,” said Gwendolyn Williams, the student’s mother. “I was worried, I was concerned I was too busy worried about my child’s safety.”…
