Cash, card stolen from student’s vehicle at Hamilton High

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Police were called to Hamilton High School around 10:30 a.m. Tuesday after they say someone was caught on video breaking into a student’s vehicle in the school’s parking lot.

Officers spoke to a school bus driver who parked in the school parking lot and heard a “loud, popping sound” from the west side of the lot. She told police she saw a person wearing a black ski mask, black hoodie, and black jeans running north on Pillow Street.

Video footage from the school showed a suspect that matched the description given to police breaking a window of the vehicle and going inside it…
