Man charged after high-speed chase with Memphis Police ends in Southaven

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The suspect who led Memphis Police on a chase last Thursday and was detained on the scene has been identified and charged, according to the Memphis Police Department.

20-year-old Kenneth Berry was charged with felony for evading arrest, reckless driving and driving without a license.

According to a Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) trooper, he saw Berry driving a gray Camaro going 80 mph in a 55 mph zone.

When the trooper tried to initiate a traffic stop, he said Berry began weaving in and out of lanes in traffic…
