The Tennessee Court of Criminal Appeals has affirmed the conviction of Enoch Zarceno Turner, who was sentenced to life without parole for the brutal murders of his former girlfriend, Heather Cook, and their four-month-old son, Bentley Cook.

The court’s decision, filed Tuesday, rejected Turner’s appeal, which argued that the state failed to adequately prove his identity as the perpetrator.
