The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is handling a case in Whitfield County after the discovery of a homicide. According to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation official press release, 59-year-old Michael Cronin of Dalton, Georgia, was found dead with multiple stab wounds in his home on Wednesday.
The case began after a 911 call reported a blood-covered woman at a Dollar General store on Beaverdale Road. Authorities identified the woman as 33-year-old Requiya Kierra Reynolds of Memphis, Tennessee. She told first responders she had stabbed a man at a residence on Dawnville Beaverdale Road.
Deputies from the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office responded and found Cronin deceased at the location. Reynolds was taken into custody and charged with murder. She is being held without bond while the investigation continues…
