MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Police dispersed up to 500 juveniles after a 14-year-old was chased and assaulted on Sunday in Hickory Hill.
Police said around 10 p.m., a simple assault report was made after a woman said she dropped her 14-year-old son off at an event center in the 7000 block of Malco Way.
She told police that after she dropped her son off, her son called her and said he was being chased by people and they were trying to assault him.
